Centara Grand West Sands Resort & Villas

The West Sands Resort has now been taken over by the Centara group who have several hotels in Phuket. West Sands is at Mai Khao Beach, just north of the airport, a very quiet area, with the hotel entrance accessed down a winding country road. A million miles from the crowds, but if you want to get out and about from there, hire a car. One of the big pluses, especially if you have kids (or enjoy behaving like kids) is the Splash Jungle Waterpark which is on the hotel grounds. Great fun!
