Baan Laimai Beach Resort, Patong Beach

Baan Lamai is on the beach road in Patong, or at least the main entrance is there. It's a big hotel, a few minutes walk from the heart of Patong, if you want action, nightlife, lots of restaurants (and all that goes with it!), Baan Laimai is a little oasis of quiet in the middle of Patong. The resort has a beachfront (Ok, just over the road from the beach) restaurant where I had a superb steak once. I used to work near hear and would walk by often, and took a sneaky shortcut through the hotel past the pool a few times too. Patong is tourism central in Phuket but the hotels are good and Baan Laimai is a top choice to get a good nights sleep.
