Sri Panwa

Phuket is a big island, and yes the main beaches can be very busy - Patong is a bit mad, which some people like. Other people want seclusion, and Sri Panwa is one of those resorts that offers a different Phuket. Great views, no crowds and top quality service. It's located at Cape Panwa to the south of Phuket Town. Be aware that the resort is secluded, you have to drive to get anywhere, renting a car would be a good idea. Sri Panwa is a luxury getaway with only about 50 rooms/villas all with seaviews. I like the Cape Panwa area of Phuket, great scenery and less tourists!
