Chinotel (Phuket Town)

Just last weekend we drove into Phuket Town to pick up a visiting friend for dinner. He said he was staying at Chinotel, which I had not heard of before. That's because it's new. Chinotel is right next to the new market in Phuket Town on Ranong Road in the center of the old town. New room aircon, cable TV, 690 Baht he paid. Sounds good, I thought. You can get slightly better rates on Latestays - see link below, though there are different rooms (standard, junior deluxe and deluxe). If you want to look around the old town or need a place to crash for a day, this looks like a top option.
